The workshops served as both an experiment and a demonstration of how participatory practice can be an effective and inclusive method for engaging the public—particularly young people—in expressing their identities and connecting with their communities. Conducting sessions across different environments, including schools, the museum, and public events, also provided valuable insights into how varying settings influence workshop planning, participation dynamics, and the facilitator’s role. The ultimate aim of this research is to use the collected data and insights to inform policymakers on youth and children’s policy, bringing young people’s perspectives and lived experiences into the conversation.
